618 Data Collection Calendar
This calendar is a planning and coordination tool designed to help states organize tasks that support timely and accurate submission of IDEA Section 618 EDFacts data files through EDPass. The calendar highlights suggested activities—such as data preparation, validation, training, and review—across the school year for each 618 data collection.
Note: This tool does not replace official EDFacts submission timelines. States should continue to rely on EDFacts documentation and system communications for required submission windows and due dates.
How to Use This Tool
This tool helps states plan and coordinate activities that support the timely and accurate submission of IDEA Section 618 data. Each collection highlights recommended tasks and activities that typically occur throughout the year for each 618 data collection.

- Reporting Snapshot: Data are collected on a state selected date between October 1 and December 1.

- Reporting Scope: This collection includes federal fiscal year (FFY) and school year (SY) elements and spans multiple years of data.
