Assessment

Overview

Assessment is one of seven federal Section 618 data collections that states must submit through EDFacts. These data capture student participation and performance on state-level assessments, showing proficiency in academic areas like reading/language arts and mathematics. For students with disabilities, these data include the number who tested, the type of assessment they took, and their performance by grade level. On this page, you will find IDC fundamental resources related to Part B Assessment data and have an opportunity to dig deeper in our Resource Hub.
