Discipline

Overview

Discipline is one of seven federal Section 618 data collections that states submit through EDFacts. These data track instances where students with disabilities are removed from their regular educational environment for behavior-related reasons, including in-school and out-of-school suspensions, expulsions, and unilateral removals. On this page, you will find IDC fundamental resources related to Part B Discipline data and have an opportunity to dig deeper in our Resource Hub.
