MOE/CEIS/CCEIS

Overview

MOE/CEIS/CCEIS is one of seven federal Section 618 data collections that states submit through EDFacts. These data track how LEAs use IDEA Part B funds to support students with disabilities, including whether they meet maintenance of effort (MOE) requirements, voluntarily reserve funds for coordinated early intervening services (CEIS), or are required to implement comprehensive CEIS (CCEIS). Collectively referred to as MOE/CEIS/CCEIS data, states report this information to monitor fiscal compliance, assess patterns in funding decisions, and evaluate how LEAs support students with and without disabilities. On this page, you will find IDC fundamental resources related to Part B MOE/CEIS/CCEIS data and have an opportunity to dig deeper in our Resource Hub.
