IDC State Impacts: Arkansas

IDC TA Specialists partnered with the Arkansas Department of Education to deliver a statewide series of five regional data summits aimed at building LEA staff capacity for meaningful data analysis and use. The sessions focused on helping school districts understand state data reporting requirements and data sources, recognize how personal experiences can influence data interpretation, examine the role of SPP/APR indicators in shaping district goals, and apply a structured data analysis process to evaluate the impact of district initiatives.

Through these trainings, districts across Arkansas are better equipped to use IDEA data to inform instructional decisions, guide student programming, and proactively identify and address potential challenges. While Arkansas has hosted similar summits in the past, the partnership with IDC has expanded awareness and engagement, helping more district staff recognize the value of the content and its application to their work.
