The SSIP Phase II Process Guide describes the steps needed to accomplish the work of the three components of Phase II. It lists tools and resources and defines key terms to support the work.

The presentation addresses the value of IDEA data managers and staff working with data from systems integrated with general education and early learning programs. Viewers can learn how integrated data can support the SSIP to provide a comprehensive integrated view of children/students, schools, and programs to improve outcomes for children and their families. A helpful handout is included.

The webinar focused on a national overview of state’s Phase I SSIP based on the SSIP content analysis that TA providers completed in summer of 2015. DaSy, ECTA, IDC, and NCSI co-sponsored the webinar. Several early childhood colleagues shared the results of the SSIP content analysis.

The presentation provides strategies for making predictions of the ways in which improvements in data quality will impact the summary statements and describes different ways to impact and measure changes in data quality over time. This can help states currently struggling to predict how improvements in data quality will impact the value of the summary statements describing child outcomes. Helpful handouts are included.

The presentation offers guidance on integrating implementation efforts across and within agencies, which promotes and supports efficient cross-sector work, resulting in less duplication of effort, a more sustainable system, and increased capability across the system. This information focuses on how states and local programs can use the SISEP Initiative Tool to achieve this integration. Helpful handouts are included.

This presentation provides guidance on the evaluation of SSIP by differentiating between evaluating implementation and impact and reviews possible measures of progress toward achieving the SIMR. Participants discussed and provided input into development of an IDC white paper on the topic. Currently, the white paper is in draft form and undergoing revisions based on input from the field. The published paper will be posted to the IDC Resource Library and affiliated as a related resource to the handout already posted for this session.

This presentation focuses on the role that developing a logic model has in overall SSIP evaluation planning.
