Part C Exiting CountsIDC's Part C Exiting Counts app allows users to test their knowledge of the 10 Part C Exiting categories by either starting with a child scenario and deciding which reason and category best fit the scenario or starting with a reason and category and deciding which child scenario best fits that reason and category.

The Uses and Limits of Data: Supporting Data Quality With a Strong Data ChainThis online learning module provides a general overview of how the methods and design of data collection and analysis affect interpretation of the data. The module presents the different links in the data chain (e.g., defining the question, measurement strategy) and describes how each link contributes to quality of data and data analyses. The module also includes examples from a selection of Part B and Part C SPP/APR indicators to illustrate how each step in the data chain contributes to the integrity of the data and its interpretation

Part C IDEA Data Processes ToolkitUsing the Part C IDEA Data Processes Toolkit to document data processes for all 616 and 618 data collections will establish a well-managed process for data collection, validation, and submission. In collaboration with IDC State Liaisons, states can use the toolkit to create and maintain a culture of high-quality data and establish and support consistent practices that produce valid and reliable data, while building the capacity of state staff. The toolkit contains an overview of the toolkit, Data Collection Protocols, SPP/APR Indicator Protocols, a State Landscape Protocol, a Local EI Program Determinations Protocol, a Data Collections Calendar, and additional resources that provide a structure for documenting data processes. The Data Collection Protocols are in Word, and states can tailor them meet their states' specific documentation needs.

Data Visualization Toolkit: Tools & Tips for Presenting Data EffectivelyThe purpose of the toolkit is to help state Part C and Part B staff effectively create and use engaging data displays. For each data visualization topic, the toolkit presents a comprehensive set of resources and information, including design principles, data considerations, accessibility tips, general how-to’s, examples, and sample tools. DaSy and NCSI partnered to create the toolkit.

Part C Exiting ToolkitThe Part C Exiting Toolkit allows for one-stop “shopping” for Part C data managers and coordinators. It provides (1) resources for documenting the exiting process, (2) resources to check exiting data, (3) a link to the Part C Exiting Counts app, and (4) other great resources. It is a great tool for both new and experienced staff.

Part C Indicator Data Display WizardThis Version 2.0 of the Data Display Wizard creates data displays based on user entry of SPP/APR data. The tool gives users various options for displaying that data. LA staff can use this tool to engage with various stakeholders on how to best display reported SPP/APR data based on the audience, message, and purpose of the desired report or presentation.
