In March, our IDC TA staff visited the Puerto Rico Department of Education (PRDE). Their assignment: Help PRDE make progress toward more efficiently documenting their data process. During our on-site work, the group—which included the Part B data manager, federal compliance consultant, planning unit director, and technical assistance facilitator—completed the documentation of nearly 40% of PRDE’s data processes, further strengthening a robust and sustainable data system that will help support students with disabilities across Puerto Rico for years to come.
