IDC TA specialists recently partnered with the Nebraska Department of Education to strengthen its approach to SPP/APR Indicator 7 reporting. The team entered the series of virtual meetings with three clear goals: supporting new staff, documenting processes for sustainability and succession planning, and integrating information across individuals and vendors.
During their time together, the group focused on capturing recent innovations in data analysis and monitoring data quality, directly considering how these improvements fit into their official Indicator 7 processes. The result? A practical, living data processes document that is clear enough to guide current work yet flexible enough to evolve as needs change. By striking that “just right” balance, Nebraska ensured they can sustain strong structures without becoming overly prescriptive, setting the stage for continued success.
